Our county government, even in the face of reports in the past 3 years
of economic fiscal unsustainability, continued to write checks from the
county checkbook and borrow with abandon and no restraint. Leaving
taxpayers on the hook to pay the bills now, and well into the future. What's done is done. We can't turn back the clock and revisit bad decisions. We can't un-spend monies already spent. We can however commit to making better decisions and allocating our limited resources better.
